Confidentiality

All information provided by you in the Assessment will be treated confidentially.

Privacy

Your personal information is protected by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and CSIRO will handle your personal information in accordance with this Act and the National Health & Medical Research Council National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007, updated 2018).

Your personal information, including your username, password, email address, and your answers to the Assessment, will be collected by CSIRO for the purposes of accessing and using the Assessment.

CSIRO may disclose your personal information to third parties including Amazon for the purposes outlined above.

The Assessment is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in Australia. Since users may be based in Vietnam and Amazon is based in the United States (US), this means that there may be some circumstances where your personal information may be transferred outside of Australia to Vietnam, and to Amazon servers in the US. By registering and using the Assessment, you agree to the overseas disclosure of your personal information and you acknowledge that the information may not be subject to the requirements of the Privacy Act.

The CSIRO Privacy Policy outlines how your personal information will be handled, including details about how you can seek access or correction of the personal information we hold about you, how you can lodge a complaint about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and how CSIRO will deal with the complaint. If you require further information on how your personal information will be handled, please contact privacy@csiro.au.

For information about how Amazon handles personal information, please refer to their Privacy Policy.
